Kaitlin was born and raised in sunny Tampa, Florida. After obtaining her B.S. in Hospitality Management from the University of Central Florida, she relocated to London where she lived and worked for 5 years while earning her M.A. in Transnational Media & Globalization from City University London. After London, Kaitlin hopped across the pond to NYC where she founded Backpacks to Briefcases, providing career coaching content and services to recent college grads. Kaitlin most recently traded the Big Apple for cherry blossoms and now resides in Washington, D.C.
Kaitlin has mastered the art of being a business chameleon after thriving in marketing leadership and consulting positions across a variety of industries, including hospitality, non profit, technology, and recruitment.
Today, Kaitlin is a marketing consultant, digital illustrator, and the founder of Giv-Now. She also runs Fierce Girls Entrepreneurs Club, an online community for female founders. She specializes in marketing strategy for small businesses, startups, and solopreneurs. Her favorite pastimes are playing with rescue dogs, networking, reading brilliant words, and sketching on her design tablet. She is passionate about people (including the four-legged furry variety) and digital design, firmly believing that when you combine people, art, and technology you can truly create magic.
